Namma Bangalore Vibbes was born to share food made with love and full-on vibbes.

Our Story

Once upon a time, there was a couple who shared a fiery passion for cooking. Not the candlelight-dinner kind of passion, but the kind where the kitchen turns into a battleground, armed with spatulas, wooden spoons, and secret family recipes.

I grew up watching my grandmother turn simple meals into unforgettable feasts. Every dish she touched had love and magic in it, and I dreamt of passing that same flavor and feeling to my kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. For me, cooking has always been about creating memories that live forever at the dining table.

My husband inherited his cooking skills from his father—a man who loved feeding the whole family. For him, it is in the blood. The moment I say, “I’m craving something,” he’s already in the kitchen, whipping it up without a second thought.

Here’s the twist though. For 12 years, we’ve had kitchen rivalries. He cooks his signature dishes, I cook mine, and neither of us ever taste the other’s creations. I beg him to try mine, he says, “Maybe later.” Yet through it all, we laugh, we love, and we keep cooking.

The Big Idea

After 12 years of playful rivalry, it was time to take things beyond our kitchen walls. Enough waiting. The idea of opening a restaurant was born—not just to prove him wrong, but to share our food with people who appreciate a dish made with heart, care, and a sprinkle of grandma’s magic.
